One of the primary purposes of this website is to build a community of people interested in men's slicked hair styles. Before there was an internet that was available to the general public, those took a liking to slick hair were isolated and had no way to discover others who share a common interest. Greaser's Lair on Yahoo! Groups was perhaps one of the first forums for such interaction. Since then many other slick hair web based discussion groups and websites were formed. One of the most extensive was The Brylkeen Collection which is now contained within SlickVille.com.

GREASER'S LAIR
Much of the slicked hair fetish community uses the Greaser's Lair, a Yahoo discussion group, as their main "meeting" place on the web to discuss their interests in slicked hair. Rather than create of seperate discussion board on this site we decided it would build and strengthen a community for us all to use the Lair as our discussion room. We encourage discussion on topics related to SlickVille as well as your personal interests in slicked hair. The moderator does not allow discussion of sex, but to do so you may want to consider Brylcreem Global described below. Greaser's lair is not managed or owned by the producers of SlickVille.com.
COME "OUT" AND BE VISIBLE WITH CLOTHING THAT SHOWS YOU ARE A SLICKER!
For so long you could be riding the bus or subway, be shoping, or at the movies and not know if the person next to you shared your fetish for sliced hair. If he was brave enough, he might sport a nice wet pompadour and then you may suspect. But if he were wearing a T-shirt that had a picture of a guy with a real 50s slicked hairdoo and the SlickVille.com logo, the ice would be broken and you both would have an excuse to be talkin and sharing a common interest in no time.
