About Levi and his community
Levi Lijodi spotted SlickVille.com and was very impressed with our extensive coverage of traditional barbering. He is a barber in Kenya, Africa where he also cares for several orphan children and widows. In his third-world country which has recently been plagued with political violence, Levy takes a positive initiative to help himself, his family, and the community by managing a youth soccer foundation and raising money through the children's hand made crafts. They have the drive and the right idea to building a better community — they just need more resources such as new or used athletic uniforms, food, barbershop supplies, healthcare, education, and acourse, money to meet their needs. We purchase these necklaces from Levi, a barber in the village, and therefore we help him, the children, and widows of his community obtain food, clothing, health care, education, and other life essentials.
