Everett and I began corresponding via email about a year ago. It was nearly 6 months later that I was able to get to Columbia on a business trip to Atlanta. (Columbia is a short distance from Atlanta - I didn't know that either).

I can't say enough nice things about Everett. Everyone else has already said them! I made an appointment - everything was totally as he said it would be. Quiet. Professional. Discreet.

I've never had any barber spend as much time evaluating my current haircut, discussing my options, making his suggestions and listening to my requests. A very careful and precise haircut was followed by a thorough shampoo. While my hair was still wet he offered a variety of slicking products but suggested Jeris Hair Tonic with Oil. By this point, I was completely willing to let Everett do whatever he felt was best.

My hair was saturated with tonic and expertly combed. He had me comb it too so that I could understand how he had cut it. Although he offered to get all of the hair tonic out, I elected to leave it in and strolled to a nearby restaurant at his suggestion for dinner. No one seemed to find my extraordinarily slicked hair anything unusual.

I have to confess that I was a little bit leery of what I would find the next day after my shower but I was delighted to find that my hair fell into place perfectly even without the excess oil. My cut was a slight bit shorter than I was used to but I was loath of have it cut for almost 2 months afterwards as it was without a doubt the best haircut I've ever had.

In summary - I can't say enough good things about Everett. If I have the opportunity, I'll be back in a second!
